A relaxed environment, great hospitality, practical BBQ skills and lots of delicious food!
Arrive at Big Nath’s BBQ HQ for 10am.
Time: 5 – 5.5 hours

About us and housekeeping.
BBQ maintenance and care – learn how to clean, maintain and get the most from your BBQ.
An introduction to different BBQ styles and cooking techniques. Throughout the day we’ll be using a variety of BBQs and live-fire cookers, which may include ceramic, kettle, Asado, gas, pellet and wood-fired cookers.
Learn about fuels, fire management and when to use different cooking methods.
Chicken shawarma on the spit – demo and then prep your own. Served with homemade flatbreads and accompaniments.
Reverse-seared steaks with compound butter – learn one of the best techniques for cooking steak over fire.
Chicken heart skewers – a pitmaster favourite and the perfect BBQ snack!
Fish cooked on wood planks – a fantastic introduction to cooking seafood over live fire.
Dirty vegetables – transforming seasonal veg over flame and smoke.
BBQ sides – tabbouleh and grilled courgette pasta salad.
Lunch included, with pudding! Plus local beers/ciders/0% options.
BBQ goody bag.
Small classes – up to 12 people, so you get intensive input and plenty of hands-on experience!
