🕙 Arrival: 10:00 AM

• 👋 Welcome intro, meet the team, and housekeeping

• 🔥 Learn about the BBQs and smokers we’ll use, and explore sustainable fuel options

• 🌿 Guided woodland foraging walk with Helen

• 🍳 Hands-on BBQ preparation and cooking session

👩‍🏫 About Helen

Helen spent much of her childhood in the Welsh Borders where she learnt about plants and their uses from her mother and grandmother. She went on to be a teacher and then an archaeologist but never lost her love for nature and wild foods. 🌼 Her knowledge of foraging was consolidated by achieving a Level 3 qualification in Foraging and Wilderness Cookery. Helen runs Wayfarers Outdoors which offers a range of courses ranging from foraging to experimental archaeology to bushcraft and related skills. 🏕️🪵
